St-Amour

St-Amour is a Parisian artist whose sound is deeply inspired by the city he calls "the capital of Jazz House". More than a source of inspiration, Paris shapes the way he produces and experiences music. From the cafés of the Rive Gauche to the quiet streets of the 6th arrondissement, its architecture, intellectual heritage and understated elegance run through every single project.

Raised on artists such as St Germain alongside classic jazz and French house, St-Amour has developed a sound where live instrumentation and electronic production exist in constant dialogue. Piano, upright bass, saxophone and organic percussion remain at the centre of his work, creating music that feels intimate, textured and deeply refined. His compositions seek a balance between improvisation and precision, blending the spontaneity of jazz with the structure of contemporary electronic music.

His debut solo album, Life in Indigo, releasing early 2027 (digital and limited edition vinyl), marks a defining chapter. Inspired by countless walks through Paris, afternoons spent writing in the Left Bank, conversations stretching late into the evening, the quiet refinement of historic hotel bars and the restrained aesthetics of French design, the record unfolds through a personal visual filter: indigo. More than a colour, it becomes a way of observing the city and capturing its poetry.

Beyond music, St-Amour draws from architecture, photography, literature and design. The heritage of Haussmannian architecture, the timeless simplicity of French fashion and the atmosphere of Parisian bookstores, galleries and hotel lounges all shape his artistic language.

Rather than celebrating status or luxury, his work is rooted in taste, curiosity and craftsmanship. Less concerned with documenting Paris than translating the feeling of moving through it, St-Amour builds projects where sound, image and space become part of the same narrative.
