We use it to answer you and to follow up on your enquiry. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or the steps needed to enter into an agreement with you.

Demo submissions. If you send us music to demo@paperclip.no, we keep your contact details and the material you send in order to evaluate it and get back to you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in evaluating artists and projects.

Website statistics and cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies only to make the site work and to understand how it is used, including anonymised visitor statistics. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and securing the site.

Embedded content. Pages on this site embed content from third parties such as Spotify, Bandsintown and Google Maps. When you view such content, the third party may collect data about you and set cookies according to its own privacy policy.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as our web host, email provider and analytics tools. These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements. Some of them are located outside the EEA; in that case we rely on EU standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision to protect your data. We may also disclose data where required by law.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for. Enquiries are kept as long as the dialogue is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Demo material that we do not follow up on is deleted within twelve months.
